How Tether Works
What Tether is designed to do and what iPhone owners need to know.
Tether gives iPhone owners a clear place to begin when their dog is out of sight.
1. Fit the collar
Adjust Tether so it sits comfortably and securely on your dog. Check the fit regularly as part of everyday care.
2. Connect with Find My
Follow the included setup instructions using a compatible Apple device, Apple Account, and the Find My app.
3. Check the latest reported location
Open Find My when you need to see Tether’s latest reported location.
Location note
Tether uses the Apple Find My network rather than continuous live GPS or cellular tracking. Location reports depend on nearby participating Apple devices and may be approximate, delayed, or unavailable. Android cannot provide owner tracking through Apple Find My.
Use Tether as a primary locating aid alongside secure handling, current identification, and everyday supervision.
